Description After the passing of a close friend, I was at a loss for words to express my grief. This lyric ode for five strings (Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola, Violoncello, and Contrabass), was the only response I could muster at the time. It is easy to moderate in difficulty, lyric in structure and simply designed to be a sonic expression in celebration of a life devoted to music and music education.
